The course at Chigwell was designed by Hawtree and Taylor and first opened for play in 1925. Set on undulating parkland the 18 hole 6296 yard course, with a par of 71, takes full advantage of all its natural features. With well guarded greens and excellent mature trees that line the fairways the course holds a challenge for all levels of golfers.
The club has a policy of continuous investment which ensures the course is alsways in the finest condition and playable all year round, without the need for temporary greens or tees.
Chigwell Golf Club enjoys a superb reputation as one of the best courses in Essex and is a regular venue for prestigious Pro-Ams, County and large corporate golfing events.
