JAMES STYLES BECOMES THE ESSEX UNDER 10'S CHAMPION!

The weekend on the 17th and 18th September was a weekend that James will not forget. On the Saturday James played in the Grand Final UK Kids Golf event, which is a 9 hole Scratch Medal event where he had to compete against the other regional finalists from all over the UK at a course up near Milton Keynes.

James had only dropped 5 shots going into the 9th and only needed a double bogey to win. Unfortunately a freak short sharp rain shower saw him drop 4 shots on the par 3 9th.  Still good enough to come in 4th place overall.

On Sunday he competed in the official ESSEX UNDER 10'S CHAMPIONSHIP held at Crowlands Heath. Again this was a 9 hole Scratch Medal event. Despite having never played the course before he decided to go round in level par and win the competition!!
